But in present-day conditions and with the background of the past few years of heroic struggle and sacrifice , such a lapse can have only one meaningthat the Mahasabha has ceased to think even in terms of nationalism and is engrossed in communal squabbles . Or it may be that the policy is a deliberate one so as to avoid irritating the government with which the Mahasabha wishes to cooperate .
लेकिन मौजूदा हालात में और पिछले कुछ बरसों में शान के साथ जो लड़ाई लड़ी गयी और जो कुर्बानियां की गयीं , उन्हें देखते हुए इस तरह की भूल का एक ही मतलब हो सकता है कि महासभा ने राष्ट्रीय आधार पर सोचना बंद कर दिया है और छोटे छोटे सांप्रदायिक मसलों में उलझ गयी है.यह भी कहा जा सकता है कि यह पालिसी जानबूझ कर अपनायी जा रही है , जिससे जिस सरकार से महासभा मेल-जोल करना चाZहती है , उसे कोई नाराजगी नहीं हो .
